Biography on warcraft
I first started playing in early days of the summer of 2005, because my friends started playing and the game was appealing to me. For some reason I can't recall, and while only being 16lvl I stopped playing and gave away my account to another friend of mine. On October of 2005, I decided it was time to play again but that time I took it seriously. The rogue was my first character on both accounts I had started. I loved the class from the first minutes I decided to try it's gameplay. Eventually after a couple of months I reached lvl 60, but I was a complete noob in both pve and pvp parts. I always felt pve appealed more to me but I didn't have any guidance since my friends were too bothered playing their own chars.
After a short time I decided to level a new character, my priest which was left at mid 30's when I thought it was time to do something with my rogue. Until then I had my own guild, and we were trying hardly to setup ZG raids. Then destiny brought Oneiros in my doorstep, where they asked for a merge so we could setup raids having enough ppl from both sides. The merge happened in June of 2006 and it's when we eventually started raiding ZG. Some very experienced members of Chilling Spree joined us when they decided to disband, and it's when we were given guidance to start with the 40man content. When I first got in Molten Core then it was I felt pve was what I was made for. The coordination needed by 40 ppl in order to kill those bosses was just magic.
The hard work payed off by getting promoted to Class leader of rogues in Oneiros. Even before that though I always had in my mind my evolving from noob to a raider.
Eventually we proceeded into Onyxia, Bwl and AQ40, the days where sadly my friends announced me they would move to Bladefist. Regretfully later, my call was to follow them. It was end of 2006 just before the expansion arrived. Bladefist was afterwards called Deadfist, because of the lack of both pvp and pve progress and low population. Leveling to 70 and afterwards during the summer of 2007 I was pointlessly wandering around in the server not knowing what to do.
One day I logged to my priest in Twilight's and the GM of Oneiros whispered me and asked me to return to the server and help them with their pve progress. On August 2007 I returned to the server and started raiding Karazhan with Oneiros. The very first week I joined we cleared all the bosses in Karazhan that weren't killed by then from the guild, with me topping the dmg meters even as slightly undergeared. From there we went to Gruul and then to Tempest Keep. There had passed 4 months to reach TK and we were only still on trash. Then it was I decided to leave Oneiros behind and look forward for the guild that would feed my hunger for pve progress. I was honest with everyone and left myself before I get talks on any guilds. Some old friends I had from Oneiros told me to apply for Last Stand. I did it believing in myself and being clearly undergeared from the rest guys of the guild.
On 25th of December I got invited to Last Stand to prove myself in order to get a raider spot. In the first week we started raiding after the Vacations, we down Kael'thas and since then I was in all first takedowns up to Illidan. 3 weeks after the trial period I got promoted. Last Stand was feeling like my home and everyone there was my family. Kept on raiding for months, when Summer of 2008 arrived and the problems started. People left for vacations, and people left the guild to see the rest endgame content since we could hardly fill a raid with the people missing. When the Gm left, I wanted to save the guild by any means. I got promoted to Gm but seeing people had lost motivation for anything we decided it was better to disband the guild in it's honor instead of letting it end up to ppl we didn't know.
After a few weeks from the event we come to today and my application to Cold Fusion.
Comments on specc
I am aware that the combat swords specc is the most viable for endgame content but I had always aswell been unlucky myself with weapon drops. After some personal testing I found out that the best way to get away from daggers was the hybrid with fist and sword, and I can say i got justified from the decision to try it. Since I got the Claw of Molten Fury, I got pretty high on dmg, higher than where I was with daggers.
Now I am seeking to buy Blade of Infamy, and doing arenas for the s3 sword. It seems the vengeful sword is closer than the Blade thought. At least there you know for sure you will obtain it
To add up, when I was playing both with daggers and the hybrid I was always higher than I expected it to go on damage, sometimes even higher from the sword specced rogues (in fair n square fights).
I am farming badges of justice in order to replace my thrown with the crossbow.
Reason for applying for Cold Fusion
CF is an endgame pve oriented, I'd say hardcore, guild which we share aims with : Progress in endgame pve, world challenge and competition on the part. It would give me the chance to prove myself once more in circumstances I am not familiar with and reach the top helping CF reach the top itself.
Having decided I won't reroll any other class and only play on my rogue, I will be a valid asset to the guild for the forthcoming expansion and it's pve part. I am loyal on my guilds, as it can be seen from the fact I have only been in 2 Serious and established guilds, Oneiros (back then it was much better than now) and Last Stand.
Pve part and raiding
On any new content that Had/Have/Will be raiding, always coming prepared with the given facts of each fight, and ofc the necessary dope. Adapting fast to new environments, always giving my 110% for the raid and the guild in general. Will accept valid criticism in order to improve myself, since there are or will be people with better experience. I can talk on vent whenever needed.
I always check on news about changes in the game or class mechanics. Usually checking for other classes too, not only the rogue ones.
The raiding days of Cold Fusion fit me fine.
Something new
After seeing on the web rogues tanking and so on, I decided to try something similar myself. When I farmed the proper gear I started tanking Karazhan, and it ended with me main tanking bloodboil and mother shahraz.
It was a new aspect of the game especially while I could play my favourite class while doing something completely different in the meanwhile.
Pc & Connection
It is Intel Pentium 4 at 3.0GB. 1024 RAM , Gforce 7800 and 350GB HD.
The connection is 24mbps
More or less
I enjoy raiding most of everything and it's the reason I play this game for. I got sense of humor (sometimes laughing more than expected xD) and always been aware of things happening in the surroundings. Will always be the hunter in situations needed and won't disappoint anyone in general. More mature than what you would think seeing the age.
Maybe Nerullzor can vouch for me. Demonknight, and again maybe Iftijoe that we do 2v2 together. I don't know many people in CF, but I would love to get to know ppl there.
Sorry if I made any mistakes but it took me some time to finish and now that is over, it is 5:40 am in Greece.
Best regards, Nick
